Hope everyone is recovering from the sugar indulgence and a nice time with family and friends. We did our traditional Easter buffet with my dad and his girlfriend and the rest of the family. We had a great time, and yes there are pictures. In fact I have quite a bit of pictures waiting for me to edit. I have been saving them up for the long nights in the hotel room this week.
This afternoon I will be trekking down to the City of Brotherly love for a meeting until Thursday afternoon. It was hard to say goodbye to hubby this morning. I miss him already. I have a little plan in the works for him though. I have it set up so he gets one card from me in the mail each day that I am gone. Hoping that lifts his spirits while I am away. See, its not just me being lonely and sad, he is too. At least he tells me so, and I believe him.
The weather doesn't look good for the trip, so I left the big camera home and plan to just veg in the hotel as much as possible. I know it makes me seem like a loner, but honestly, if I am as miserable as I expect to be, I won't be much company anyway. That and money is tight anyway. Rather stay in , save the per diem I am earning. lol.
I have my trusty laptop with me, and a free wifi hotel room booked, so I am sure I will be posting some of the great shots from Easter and the couple of exploration trips Hubby and I took over the weekend. Watch for a covered bridge, old barns, flowing creek and more.
