Job Description: Yoh IT has a contract opening for an Information Systems Security Specialist IV in Annapolis Junction, MD. TOP-SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED. Job Description: Oversees the efforts of security staff to design, develop, engineer and implement solutions in response to security requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of the client IT security. Gathers and organizes technical information about an organizations' mission goals and needs, existing security products, and ongoing programs in the MLS arena. Performs risk analyses that also include risk assessment. Provide support for facilitating and helping clients identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design and implementation of security related to IT systems. Conducts regular audits to ensure that systems are being operated securely, and information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans. Develops tests and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools. Researches, evaluates, tests, communicates and implements new security software or devices. Implements, enforces, communicates and develops security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications and information systems security education/awareness programs. Responds to queries and requests for computer security information and reports. Incumbent may act as a liaison between the IT and Security functions. Provides supervision and direction to staff. Requirements: 8 years experience. Must have understanding of business security practices and procedures; knowledge of current security tools available; hardware/software security implementation; different communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools; familiarity with commercial products, and current internet/EC technology. Knowledge and/or certification with IP, Cisco, Juniper and other applicable protocols/equipment. Must be Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP). Knowledge of HPOPENVIEW required. Bachelor's Degree. Clearance: Positions require a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI), as well as the favorable completion of full screening polygraph. Clearance and polygraph processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
